- <p> The photographs had all the charm of police mug shots,
- except that Chuck Berry and his female companions were snapped
- in the nude, full front. When eight pictures of a merry Berry
- showed up in a skin magazine for all to see, the rock legend
- reacted, said his lawyer, like "someone whose innermost, private
- possessions had been shown to the world. He was shaken." Berry,
- 63, is suing the mag because, he claims, the photos were used
- without his permission. They were stolen from his office last
- September, he says, by former friends. And why had Berry gone
- starkers for the camera in the first place? To prove, he said,
- there was no coercion involved in his trysts.
